Flannery Law is a boutique legal firm located at Shop 2/60 Santa Cruz Blvd., Clear Island Waters, Queensland, Australia.

We act principally in the fields of Immigration law, Industrial Relations and Workplace Law. Principal – Jonathan Flannery

Jonathan Flannery was first admitted as a solicitor in 1983 and has practiced extensively in both Queensland and New South Wales. He is a qualified mediator. His practice is primarily in migration law. He holds registration with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority No. 9901555. He is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia.

Jonathan also practices in Industrial Relations and Workplace Law and has extensive litigation experience, not only in relation to migration appeals and workplace law, but also in industrial law, personal injury, criminal law, debt recovery and collection and commercial litigation. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Law degree, he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Biochemistry major). Both were awarded by UNSW. He currently holds the position of President of the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre & Advice Bureau Inc. a non-profit community based organisation that provides advice, assistance and information to the Gold Coast Community. Jonathan has been on the committee of that service for over 20 years: advicebureau.org.au. He is on the panel of volunteers for the Refugee and Immigration Legal Service (“RAILS”): rails.org.au.

He was nominated for Citizen of the Year in the 2015 Gold Coast Australia Day Awards.

Jonathan is a former Board Member of Triathlon Queensland and continues to be the Honorary Solicitor for that sporting body. His sporting interests include: Triathlon, Rugby Union, Cricket and Track and Field. He is a qualified pilot.
